This policy explains what personal information Sri Mookambika Jyothishyalaya collects through this website, why it is collected, and what happens to it. It applies to https://arunsharmaguruji.com and to consultations booked through it.

What we collect

We only collect what a consultation actually requires.

Information you give us

• Your name, mobile number and email address
• Your date, time and place of birth — required to cast a birth chart
• The subject of your enquiry and anything you choose to write in the message field
• Where you book a time slot, the details you give the Google Calendar booking form

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited
• Your IP address, used to prevent automated spam submissions

We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details at any point. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay on their own systems.

Why we collect it

• To cast and read your birth chart — the birth details cannot be omitted
• To contact you about your enquiry and to confirm your consultation
• To keep a record of consultations and payments
• To meet accounting and tax obligations under Indian law

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles from it.

Who else sees it

Your information is never sold, rented or traded. It is shared only with the service providers needed to run the practice:

• Google Workspace — consultation requests are stored in Google Sheets and appointments in Google Calendar
• Razorpay — payment processing; they receive your name and contact details but we never see your payment credentials
• Cloudflare — spam protection on the enquiry form

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or by an order of a court or authority of competent jurisdiction.

Confidentiality of consultations

What you discuss with Guruji in a consultation is treated as confidential. It is not shared with your family members, your partner, or anyone else, and it is not published or used as an example without your explicit permission.

How long we keep it

Consultation records and birth details are retained so that Guruji can refer back to your chart in any future sitting. Financial records are retained for the period Indian tax law requires. You may ask us to delete your records at any time, other than those we are legally obliged to keep.

Your rights

You may at any time ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, subject to our legal obligations
• Stop contacting you

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cookies may be set by embedded Google Calendar booking and by Razorpay during payment; those are governed by the respective privacy policies of Google and Razorpay.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18. Where a consultation concerns a child, we expect the birth details to be provided by a parent or guardian.

Security

Information is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access- controlled Google Workspace accounts. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every possible breach, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be posted here with a revised date above.
